Abdihamid Nur, George Kusche, Nico Young and Drew Bosley all ran the men's invitational 1,500 meters at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Cougar Stadium at Azusa Pacific University as a warmup for competing in the 5,000 meters at the 62nd Mt. SAC Relays Presented by Nike at Hilmer Lodge Stadium in nearby Walnut, Calif. Nur won his section in 3:36.33 to finish third overall. Kusche finished fifth in his section and seventh overall in 3:37.31. Young placed fourth in his section and 12th overall in 3:37.75. And Bosley was 10th in his section and 23rd overall in 3:39.32.
