Northern Arizona's Nico Young finished second in the men's 5,000 meters on Friday at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, running a time of 14:54.65 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. He finished third in the event in 2022 and eighth in 2023. He won two NCAA indoor titles in March, in the 3,000 and 5,000 meters.
